"…And the hard work paid off"

I have to start this new article of our blog with two words "Thank You" and whoever is reading this now and have met Cao Chocolates team know we mean every single word and our gratitude is infinite to all clients, family,  friends and supporters. About six weeks ago we opened the doors of our first Chocolate Atelier in a two days celebration round. The first celebration was opening our doors and celebrating my birthday the same day Oct 15, 2012 and then one day later we celebrated our Grand opening in company of close friends and family also celebrating the 8th year anniversary we moved from Venezuela and became immigrants working towards the American dream . Do you love our spicy brownies? Here is the recipe!

Spicy Cao Chocolates Brownies Ingredients: 1 stick butter 1 cup dark chocolate 1 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup all-purpose flour ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon chipotle powder 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seed ¼ teaspoon cinnamon Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8 inch square pan. In a large saucepan, melt butter and chocolate. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar and brown sugar, eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add flour, salt, chipotle powder, sesame seeds and cinnamon. Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Do not overcook. Let it cool and cut in pieces. Serve with Vanilla Ice Cream. Enjoy!

Antioxidants in Dark Chocolate

Dark chocolate is loaded with flavonoids, antioxidants that have been shown in medical studies to offer protection to the vascular system, heart and brain.
